10.12.2011 Dear Colleagues,
On 05.11.2011 our Society had a general meeting in order to report its work and elect new Board of Representatives. 32 members (of 165 total) attended this meeting. Former Board's and Committee's reports were accepted. Then members elected the new Board of Representatives and Committees (see Board of Representatives page). The general meeting voted for raising annual membership fee up to 120 zł.
Members also raised several issues:
possibility of participating in general meeting via electronic media agreeing on general meeting's date in a year advance possibility of discussing PSGP issues on general meeting connecting 2012 general meeting date with PSGP conference date (September 2012) agreeing on procedures and rules of general meeting
Best Regards,

04.11.2011 Dear Colleagues,
I'm happy to inform about an agreement between PSGP Board of Representatives and IITG OK PSSP Board of Representatives; the latter training institute shall stop issuing renewable certificates for psychotherapists and supervisors.
Of course every person holding such certificate is still recognized as a Gestalt psychotherapist of supervisor.
What changes is the function of training institutes.
According to an agreement with EAGT Training Standards Committee chair and EAGT board of representatives – issuing renewable certificates for psychotherapists and supervisors is a responsibility of a national organization. This complies with a rule of division between basic training in psychotherapy and one's ongoing development as a psychotherapist and supervisor. Such an agreement also puts control in hands of democratic association of psychotherapists. It is thus beneficial in light of current work on legal regulation of psychotherapists' profession.
Division of those two processes allows us to evade conflicting interests, which could have led to training institutes interfering with students' further development.
The process of certifying PSGP psychotherapists and supervisors shall be started by the new Accreditation and Certification Committee. Board of Representatives have already set rules for this Committee's functioning. Committee shall meet twice a year: in spring and in autumn.
Application forms will be available on our website by January 2012. I suppose that we will be able to come up with a specific date after annual general meeting.
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday,
Ewa Canert-Łąka
President of PSGP

X EAGT Conference took place in September 2010 in Berlin (EAGT Conferences are organized every 3 years). On the last day of conference participants decided on the place of next conference.
Rivaling cities were Oslo and Cracow. We won and received the olive tree in line with our tradition.
XI EAGT Conference will thus be held in Cracow! It is a fact; we're going to host hundreds of psychotherapists from whole Europe – and not only Europe.
Participants' decision to organize next conference in Cracow is a great honor for PSGP – our national gestalt organization; it requires our cooperation, engagement and integration.
Preparing and leading the Conference is a difficult and complex task, but it can bring us a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment!
Thus we turn to gestalt society in Poland – and ask for volunteering for preparing and leading the Conference.
We ask you to contact us via PSGP bureau address. Please provide with your full name, email address and your proposed area of activity.
We had already organized ourselves in a few work groups on specific topics:
1) Place: place of conference, workshophs, etc. - Tomek Rebeta, Jola Cieplińska
2) PR – Renata Procak
3) Contact with EAGT – Ewa Canert-Łącka
4) Website – Jola Cieplińska
5) Alimentation – Jola Cieplińska
6) Finances – Jola Czernek
7) Gala dinner, cultural activities – Renata Procak
8) Folders, gadgets, marketing
9) Sponsors – Ewa Canert-Łącka, Renata Procak, Tomek Rebeta
10) Media – Tomek Rebeta
11) Translations – Ewa Canert-Łącka
We are grateful for your interest – and we're hoping on your help and cooperation.
